  To commemorate Mother’s Day and the Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, PAMANA hosts this gala to celebrate the contributions of Filipino and Filipino American mothers in Madison and nearby areas.

  Hear their stories as we present the Mother of the Year award. Help support PAMANA’s programs (including scholarship and social services), and enjoy a night of music, dancing, silent auction, and prizes!

  The gala is a wonderful opportunity to meet the Filipino community and help support PAMANA's programs, including scholarship and social services.

  Special Guests
  

  

  Guest Speaker: Charlotte Deleste. She is a Filipina icon, inspiration, and mother known for her integrity and advocacy.

  A trailblazing Pinay broadcaster and probably the "most visible Filipino in Madison and South Central Wisconsin," Charlotte worked at Channel 3000 (WISC-TV) for 18 years and was the main anchor for the primetime and late night newscasts of News 3 Now until last year.

  Inspired by her son's life journey, she founded Gio's Garden, a sanctuary that provides therapy and respite care for families with special-needs children.

  PAMANA is honored to have Charlotte as this year's guest speaker. (Watch Channel 3000's tribute to Charlotte.)

  Guest Performer: Joemari Felarca. The gala will also feature musical performances from a Pinoy who starred in a U.S. reality singing competition.

  Joemari was a featured singer in "I Can See Your Voice," a game show where contestants try to guess who among the lip sync performers are actual singers.

  In the show's 2022 episode, this songbird sang Katy Perry's "Roar" and Miley Cyrus's "The Climb."

  You're gonna hear him roar during the Mother's Day Gala, as Joemari Felarca will serenade mother attendees with a harana! (Watch Joemari's performance.)

  Brat Fest has selected PAMANA as this year's charity organization! Proceeds of this event will go to PAMANA in exchange for volunteers who are willing to grill or wrap brats, be a cashier, stock condiments, or ensure the grounds are clean.
  

  For every hour of volunteer work, $12 goes to PAMANA. You also receive:
