Economic Relief Fund

PAMANA established the Social Services Economic Relief Fund to assist members, Filipinos in Madison and the neighboring areas, Fil-Am families affected by calamities in the Philippines, and other individuals and communities with Filipino connection that are undergoing  immediate challenges and financial hardship.

The fund is used to relieve the following hardships:

  • Loss or reduction of income
  • Loss or damage of residence
  • Death in the family
  • Victims of abuse
  • Catastrophic events

Amount  Minimum $200  Minimum of $200 Sympathy Card, Flowers or Memorial Contribution. Amount determined on a case-by-case basis Minimum of $200 No more than $500 per individual. No more than $1,000 per organization.

Review

Funds are overseen by the Social Services Committee following a Board-approved annual budget.

Assistance is awarded based on a set criteria and fund availability. 

All applications are reviewed by volunteer application reviewers. Volunteer reviewers sign a Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Statement. Read here.

Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed under the present law of 501(c)(3) organizations.

Donations contributed to the Social Services Economic Relief Fund will be used to respond to local, state, and out-of-state needs in the Philippines or emergencies.
