Over a dozen PAMANA members represented the Filipino community in celebrating International Women's Day on Saturday, March 11 held at the Sons of Norway Idum Lodge 74 on Winnebago Street, Madison. Organized by the Zonta Club of Madison and co-sponsored by the African Women of Madison, the event featured inspiring speakers that celebrated the achievements of women in the community and who shared updates on women's health, human trafficking and violence against women issues. The group enjoyed an ethnic group potluck, cultural music and dancing.
