We welcome you to the largest gathering of Filipinos in the Madison, Wisconsin area as PAMANA celebrates Paskong Pinoy 2019 on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 5:00pm at Turner Hall, 3001 S Stoughton Rd, Madison, WI 53716.

The event will start promptly at 5pm. Doors will open at 4:15pm.
The attire is semi- formal.

New this year: The PAMANA Board has approved to charge admission to guests attending the PAMANA Paskong Pinoy.

  • $10 for members (family or individuals)
  • $15 for non-members (family or individuals)
*This is not a per person charge, unless you are coming as an individual.

**The admission fee is not refundable but transferable to another registration type

A “family” is considered as spouses or partners and their children under 18. Two adults living in the same household attending with or without children under 18 are considered in the Family rate. If there is a third adult (18 and older) joining your group, that third person will need to pay the Individual rate.

**PAMANA is happy to organize this event, provide a venue for the party, lechon and entertainment for all guests. However, due to the rising cost of the venue and other related expenses to host the event, and for the very first time in PAMANA history, we have to charge a small admission fee to our guests. The fee helps offset some of the rising costs to host the event; PAMANA does not make a profit from the admission fee (the total admission fee will cover less than 1/4 of the event expenses).

All members and guests MUST register and pay online BEFORE  attending the PAMANA Paskong Pinoy 2019 - No walk-insThe capacity of the venue and our event is 268 seats!  We want everyone to have a seat; this is why everyone must register and pay online before the party on PAMANA’s website.

  • Due to the limited seating, no walk-ins allowed the night of the event

  • Not a member?  Sign up to become a member. Click here.

By registering for the event, attendees agree to the Terms & Conditions of the Event Participation Agreement and Release and Waiver of Liability (“Release”) and the Video/Photograph Release Click here for the full Release &  Waiver.

Thank you!

    • Non-members will be seated at the BLUE tables.

Ninong & Ninang: “Mano po, ninong, mano po, ninang.”  Sounds familiar? You will hear a lot of this phrase as Christmas is fast approaching in the Philippines where kids grab their Ninong or Ninang’s hand and place it on their forehead as a sign of respect. Ninong or Ninang, means godparents in Filipino. In the Philippines, part of a ninong (godfather) or ninang (godmother)’s job is to give gifts to their godchildren during Christmas. It is one of the practices during Christmas where children come to their godparents’ house for pamamasko (a Christmas tradition).  This year we are honored to have Bruce & Gie Best as our Paskong Pinoy 2019 Ninong and Ninang.

Children’s Gift Giving: Our Ninong and Ninang are proud to present gifts to children. Parents, grandparents and caregivers are encouraged to bring a secret gift for their child/children. The event room maybe somewhat darkened for a party atmosphere so, please write your child’s name legibly and conspicuously on the gift. Writing using a fine point Sharpie on a white gift tag taped securely is recommended. When you arrive at the venue, place your secret gift discreetly by the Christmas tree. The gift giving will take place around 5:45pm by the Christmas tree.

Karaoke: New this year!  Did you ever want to sing in front of a crowd but never had the opportunity?  Now’s your chance! Indicate on the registration form that you want to sing and note the song of your choice so that our DJ will have it ready.  Looking forward to hear some talented singers. This is available to kids and adults. Please note that not all who sign up to sing will be chosen to sing. We will randomly choose names out of all the interested people at the beginning of the party.  If chosen, we will call you up to the DJ booth and let you know when it will be your turn to sing. We will have karaoke singers during the dinner service and the program.

Program: A more detailed program will be posted here by Nov. 20th. Please check back then.

Throughout the year, PAMANA hosts many FREE (or reduced cost) events to our registered members and community.  Our volunteer Board and Committee members work extremely hard to provide a variety of events for everyone, from young children to adults.  Not only do our volunteers donate their time, but all donate financially as well.

Volunteer:  Volunteers help provide a welcoming atmosphere and ensure the event runs smoothly.  If you would like to serve as a volunteer at the party, please contact PAMANA president Lynelle Harrison to find out volunteering spots. Volunteers will receive a complimentary admission. A comp code will be provided to the volunteer. Family members of the volunteer who are also volunteering will get their own complimentary admission. Non-volunteering family members of the volunteer however, will need to pay the admission fee.

THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped put this event together!

Please contact PAMANA President Lynelle Harrison if you have any questions.
