We welcome you to the largest gathering of Filipinos in the Madison, Wisconsin area as PAMANA celebrates Paskong Pinoy on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 5PM in Turner Hall 3001 S Stoughton Rd, Madison, WI 53716.

This year's theme is Filipino-American fusion of culture and entertainment.

The attire is Semi- Formal.

The event will start promptly at 5PM. We request guests to be at Turner Hall at least 15-30 minutes before the event start time to check-in and for registration.  

Check-In Process -  Stop by the Registration Table for event Check-In & Registration.  Check-in/registration will be in four groups:

In appreciation for membership, current/paid Individual and Family Memberships will be given a Member Appreciation Gift Bag.  Members also get designated seats. 

Not a member or your membership has lapsed? You can sign up or renew onsite.

This is a potluck party. Everyone is requested to bring a favorite dish to share for servings of at least 30.  The food committee requests that you put your food contribution in a 9”x 13” tin foil container to make it easier to place on chafing warmers. Thank you!

PAMANA is pleased to provide Lechon (roasted suckling pig) and Lechon Manok (rotisserie chicken).

Entrance is FREE. However,  an admission donation of $5 per person or $10 per family is encouraged to help defray event expenses. The cost to organize the Christmas Party is around $4,700.

There will be a Santa gift giving portion. Parents/grandparents are encouraged to bring a secret gift for their child/children. The event room maybe somewhat darkened for a party atmosphere so, please write your child’s name legibly and conspicuously on the gift. Writing using a fine point Sharpie on a white gift tag taped securely is recommended. When you arrive at the venue, place your secret gift discreetly by the Christmas tree. The welcome program is from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM with the Santa Gift Giving taking place towards the end of the Welcome Program.

Win Prizes! There will be a raffle drawing of fantastic prizes including  a 43" TV,  Fitbit  Versa and overnight hotel stay at Staybridge Suites Hotel for four.  Raffle tickets prices are: $3 per ticket; $10 for 4 tickets and $20 for 10 tickets.

Seating Plan at the Party. We have a very positive and enthusiastic attendance response.  Here is the seating plan for the evening so you know what to expect.  We will have 30 tables set up. Seating for Tables 1-16 will be reserved for members, performers, business sponsors and VIPs until 6 PM. Seating for Tables 17-30 will be for non-members. After 6 PM, all tables will be open to everyone. “PAMANA Member” stickers will be provided to those who will be seated at Tables 1-16.

Renew your Membership or Sign Up to Become a Member.  Lapsed (unpaid) members are categorized as non-members. For your convenience, we encourage you to renew your membership or sign up as a member BEFORE the party.

To help with space and food planning, Everyone is requested to RSVP.   The deadline to RSVP is Friday, November 30. On the online RSVP form, you will be asked to identify the type of food you're bringing. Please think about this before you sign up. The different potluck food categories are the following:

1. Rice/grains/potatoes/pasta dish/noodle dish
   
2. Main dish/Entree (ulam)
   
3. Soup dish (Ex. nilaga, tinola, sinigang, arroz caldo)
   
4. Dessert
   
5. Salads (Including salad greens, pasta salad or potato-based salad)
   
6. Fresh cut-up fruits & vegetables
   
7. Appetizers

Thank you in advance for sharing a dish for servings of 30, preferably placed in a 9"x 13" tin foil plan.

IMPORTANT:  The RSVP online form will ask you four (4) questions:  1.) Your name, 2.) Specify guests (Example:  Indicate no. of adults and/or no. of children), 3.) Type of dish to bring, if any and, 4.) The no. of total guests. Please remember to indicate the numeric value on question no. 4  so the system would add this on the total count of registrants.
